Storytelling in business is a skill every business owner needs to perfect if they want to set themselves apart from the competition. The use of stories in business creates rapport, establishes credibility, and demonstrates how the business provides a personal touch to customer service. Human-to-human connections are the heart and soul of any successful business, and this connection can be conveyed through the use of storytelling. In business you are dealing with people, your company provides solutions to existing customer problems, alleviates pain points, and provides a customer experience that should be memorable. Revenue is a byproduct of a solid business model and a positive customer experience. Anything you earn is best done through emotionally touching the life of the customer you work with.
