I Signed up to Sell Senegence – Now What???

I’m a new Distributor, but what do I do?

Congratulations on taking the first step toward financial freedom in starting your own business! Way to go! Now you get to start building your business and achieving your dreams. Not sure how to do that, though?

Here are some guidelines for helping you get your business up and running.

Get to know your Backoffice

Once you are registered, you have access to your backoffice. Explore the links, read the various resources, and begin learning everything you can about Senegence and its products. You need to know the business, the compensation plan, the products, how to order, etc. and that is best done by exploring.

Update your Business Information

You want to be sure you get paid, right? You need to update your bank account information and enable the Customer Direct Order Program immediately.

Log in to your backoffice. Click on Business (3rd tab), then select Distributor Profile (4th option), and then Update Distributor Profile (2nd option). Fill in all of the information you need for Customer Direct Ordering (CDO) Information and Your Wiring Information. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update My Profile.

Order some Products

Place an order and stock up on some products! In your backoffice, go to Order (2nd Tab) and Product (1st option) or Supplies & Samples (2nd option). You will see all of the options available including notes on which products are currently Temporarily Out of Stock. If you hover your mouse over the product name you will see a pop up with the color or image of the product so that you can be sure you order exactly what you want.

Remember. Order discount is based on cumulative PV during the calendar month.

  • 0 to 99.5 PV = 20% discount
  • 100 to 299.5 PV = 30% discount
  • 300 to 749.5 PV = 40% discount
  • 750+ PV = 50% discount

Order Business Tools

If you plan to do vendor events and craft fairs or host home parties, you will need some basic supplies like business cards, signs, and clothing. These are not required, and you can always opt to use outside resources, but Senegence offers branded products ready to order. From your backoffice, click on Order (2nd tab), then SeneGence Store Merchandise (3rd option). It will take you to a third party vendor to place your order.

Establish an Online Presence

Think of what you want your business name to be. How will you brand yourself and set yourself apart from other SeneGence and Lipsense Distributors? Be specific and creative. This is the name you want your potential customers and team members to associate with you. You don’t want to create a name that does not give a good impression or limits what you do and offer.

For example, my online presence is Sugar Mama Makeup. I wanted to encompass all aspects of SeneGence, not just Lipsense, which I notice a lot of Distributors focus on. But I wanted my followers to know that I offer more than just lipstick and gloss. I wanted them to embrace all of the possibilities – the makeup line as a whole, including skin care products. Plus, I want my business to be something that shows that I provide for my family and spoil them – hence, Sugar Mama.

Some of the ideas I tossed around before deciding on this name were Mom’s Beauty Bag (a play on the family inside joke of “What’s in Your Mom’s Purse?, one of our videos on YouTube), Busy Mom Beauty (because I don’t know how to relax and am ALWAYS doing SOMETHING), Home Beauty Pro (though I don’t consider myself a Pro), and At Home Beauty. I started with ideas that rolled off the tongue and encompassed my vision, described me and my purpose, and then conducted searches online in the various social media platforms to see what was already taken and what might be available. I then set up my various social media accounts and pages and began working on content!

I also created a Sugar Mama email address to use for all business correspondence. I found SugarMamaMakeup was already taken, so had to adapt to SugarMamaBeauty, but it is close and hopefully won’t cause too many errors in receiving emails.

Tell EVERYONE about your new Business!

You don’t want to keep your business a secret. Share your excitement at what you have to offer with everyone you know. Tell your family, your friends, your kids’ teachers and friends’ parents, your church family, your bowling team, whoever you know. Let them know you want to place your first order and need their orders in by a certain date and start collecting those pre-orders and money! Don’t enter all of their orders one by one as they come in. Save them up for a bigger order and get more of a discount.

Not yet a SeneGence/Lipsense Distributor?

Sign up for a wholesale account! Here’s what to do!

  1. Click the Join Now button below. It will take you directly to the sign up form.
  2. In the box for Sponsor’s Distributor ID Number enter 453288.
  3. Select the option for Individual Account and click continue.
  4. A pop up screen will appear. Confirm that Trisha Smith is the sponsor lister and select Yes.
  5. Complete the account and contact information fields.Skip the Fictitious Business Name field.
  6. Click the Signup Now button and that’s it!

You will receive an email confirmation from SeneGence confirming your account. You can email me directly at sugarmamabeauty@gmail.com or message me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/trisha.bleau) to let me know you joined, or wait for me to contact you once I see you have joined my team. I will then add you to the team Facebook group and help you get started with setting up your business online and giving you access to resources here at Direct Sales Support Center.
